Biography

 

Russ Cannizzaro received his Associate of Arts Degree from Mesa Community College in 1995, his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ottawa University in 1997 (Graduated with Distinction), and his Masters in Education Degree in 1999 from Arizona State University (Magna Cum Laude) Russ is a Fine Arts Educator at Tempe High School where he has served sinced 1997.

 

Russ is the two-time recipient of the Excellence in Education Award and the William Heir Scholarship Award. Russ also served as Department Chair for the Fine Arts Department from 2003-2013.

 

Russ is also an accomplished Professional Artist whose artworks can be found in some of the most prestigious private, corporate, and museum collections in the United States. In 2014, Russ was also selected by the Governor's Office for the State of Arizona to design the Christmas Ornaments for the National Christmas Tree in Washington D.C.
