T E M P E   H I G H   F I N E   A R T S   D E P A R T M E N T

Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Chandler Arizona, Amber Towns began dancing at the age of 13.  Although she didn't start as early as her other peers, that didn't stop her from pursuing what she loved to do.  She has been dancing for 16 years and has been awarded regional as well as national awards to various prestigious studios around the United States.  She has trained in areas such as Ballet, Tap, Modern, Musical Theater, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Lyrical in which she is currently teaching.  Amber graduated in 2008 with a B.A degree in Dance Studies at Arizona State University where she was also apart of the Sun Devil Dance Team. She now is an instructor at Phoenix Dance Cooperative and at Tempe High School where she is the schools head dance director.  There she hopes to instil passion, inspire and educate the upcoming generation about dance.  live, love, laugh....DANCE!
